Each day is a gift. How we invest our time and money is a choice. For us at Oregon Venture Fund, we are grateful for the opportunity to invest locally in the people who are building the next generation of growth companies in our region.
Oregon Venture Fund is one of the top two best performing venture capital funds in the Pacific Northwest. Over 20 years, we have invested in 89 companies, witnessed 19 profitable exits, and celebrated 7,068 jobs created from scratch. Across all funds, we’re returning an average net 3.1X and a 16% IRR [as of 6/30/26]. In this asset class, investors are usually rewarded for taking early bets on world class teams and waiting for the bulk of the returns, which often materialize 5 to 15 years later.
Our performance drives investors to participate, but our regional economic impact is what keeps our investors inspired. Our investors hail from all over the world, but many have a connection to Oregon and Southern Washington. We care about this place and want it to thrive.
At Oregon Venture Fund, our deal flow reflects the world-class talent in our region developing novel solutions for growing markets that include semiconductors, advanced materials, electronics, clean energy, life science, AI, and cybersecurity. Our region’s globally competitive industry clusters create competitive advantages through:
Proximity to competitors and suppliers
Access to a skilled local workforce
Shared industry knowledge and innovation networks
Ability to attract and retain talent and investment
Our fund has a competitive advantage when it comes to investing because we work, live and play in the same spaces as entrepreneurs, founders and investors; we know founders personally and strive to connect them with talent, customers, and effective mentors.
Our portfolio companies are top notch. For example, Digs, co-founded by Ryan Fink and Ty Frackewicz, was just designated by Fast Company as the #3 Most Innovative Company of 2026. Digs provides a patented AI-driven platform that turns construction documents, especially change orders, into an intelligent digital twin of a home. Digs' customers are primarily regional and national homebuilders. ARR will double in 2026. Please see more about our portfolio companies here.
